The ethics of our institution is expressed in few words written above and is self illuminating, the institution work on the visualization that "We may never have the opportunity to do great things in a great way, but we all have the chance to do small things in a great way". The changing scenario of education has enhanced the enormity and importance of the task of college to educate the students such that it gives direction and perspective to their thoughts. The onus of inculcating scruples in the dynamic world where ethics have slipped into oblivion owing to Globalization, Liberalization and Westernization rests with educational institutions. It is sobering responsibility of an educational institution to train, develop the knowledge, mind and character of the students. 

To keep pace with latest changes in the education in the modern world Swami Dayanand Educational Society ® Lehra Bega, Bhucho Mandi (Bathinda) Punjab has started Swami Dayanand College of Education, Lehra Bega in the year 2005 with Bachelor of Education with 100 seats. The additional 100 seats in Bachelor of Education have been introduced from Academic Session 2008-2009 under Swami Dayanand College of Education, Lehra Bega, Bhucho Mandi. From the very beginning Swami Dayanand College of Education had an idea and interest to create and believe in the philosophy of student-centered learning and teaching methodology, thereby emphasizing the importance of our unique formula for a successful learning i.e., teacher supervised learning and teacher-independent learning. 

Swami Dayanand College of Education in the service of qualitative & technical education; stands fully prepared today to meet challenges of changing times. The college provides all possible avenues to the students for having rich learning experiences by providing them active learning environment. The wide array of infrastructure facilities in the college has enabled it to cultivate a passion in students for learning by developing their creativity and insight. Swami Dayanand College of Education is well-equipped with dedicating educators, instructional and infrastructural facilities; that students need to make learning a happy and useful experience which help them to discover innate capabilities, set lifelong goals and proactively work towards their fulfillment. Swami Dayanand College of Education is located in pollution free lush green campus of more than 3.5 acres. Building of Swami Dayanand College of Education is designed and developed with the objectives of providing aesthetic and learning atmosphere to the students, the library of the institute is enriched with more than 7000 Books ,21 National & International Journals and 06 Magazines and Periodicals. All the laboratories such as Psychology Laboratory, Work Experience Laboratory, ICT Laboratory, Language Laboratory, Chalk Board Writing, Computer Centre and many more in the list are well equipped with modern technology, equipments, machinery and apparatus. The Seminar/Multipurpose and lecture halls provide luxurious atmosphere to the students that is perfect for effective learning. 

Since inception, institute has well qualified, sincere, dedicated and hard-working faculty members that are involved to impart value education and positive attitude among the students to make them better citizens of the Nation. Swami Dayanand College of Education helps its students to discover new experiences in dynamic and supportive environment and also it equips them to handle the threats and opportunities to evolving and emerging technologies that would become the order of the day in the years to come.
